This year's Nightfall had, by far, the best nighttime skies in the seven years that I've attended.

The first night Al and I were there, we went to Carmelita's for dinner, Here we are on our second night with David and Cindy, Al's old school friend.

That's me. I set up the solar scope and did some "Sidewalk Solar" in the afternoons. An umbrella is required equipment down there. It was around 90 degrees during the day.

The umbrella also helps to keep the Sun out of your eyes when looking through the scope. And it looks really cool! :)
